Abstract

Victor Weisskopf was Professor of Physics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (1946-1974). Other institutional affiliations include University of Rochester and European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). His research interests included quantum electrodynamics and nuclear theory.
