Abstract

Paul Richards is Professor Emeritus of Physics at University of California, Berkeley (2005-present). Other institutional affiliations include University of Cambridge, École Normale Supérieure and Bell Laboratories. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
