Abstract

Steven Kahn is Professor of Physics at Stanford University (2003-present). Other institutional affiliations include University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia University. His research interests include x-ray spectroscopy cosmic sources, atomic physics measurements of highly charged ions relevant to astrophysical plasmas, and development of space and ground-based instrumentation.
