Abstract

Before his retirement, Alan Chynoweth was the Vice President of Applied Research at Bellcore (1982-1992). He spent much of his career at Bell Laboratories and held various positions such as Director of Materials Research (1973-1976) and Executive Director of the Electronic and Photonic Devices Division (1976-1982).
