Abstract

Daniel Chemla was a Professor of Physics at University of California, Berkeley (1991-2008). Some of Chemla's research interests included optoelectronics, nonlinear optics, and compound semiconductors. His other institutional affiliations included Centre National d’études des Télécommunications (France), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and Bell Laboratories.
