Abstract

Julia Phillips is Director of Nuclear Weapons Science and Technology Programs at Sandia National Laboratories. She has researched epitaxial metallic and insulating films on semiconductors, high-temperature superconducting, and ferroelectric and magnetic oxide thin films. She also received the American Physical Society's 2008 George E. Pake Prize.
