Biography

Abstract

Roger Dashen was a Professor of Physics at the University of California, San Diego (1986-1995). Other institutional affiliations included the Institute for Advanced Study and the California Institute of Technology. He played a leading role in the development of understanding of symmetries in quantum field theory.
