Abstract

Hannes Alfvén was a physicist focusing on the study of magnetohydrodynamics and plasma physics. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics "for his contributions and fundamental discoveries in magneto-hydrodynamics and their fruitful applications in different areas of plasma physics.”
