Abstract

Walter Meyerhof was Emeritus Professor of Physics at Stanford University (1992-2006). Other institutional affiliations included the University of Illinois and University of Pennsylvania. His research interests included threshold effects in nuclear reactions, particularly reactions in four and five nucleon systems, and atomic physics at high collision energies.
