Biography

Abstract

Dale Corson was the eighth President of Cornell University (1969-1977). He helped design the Cornell synchrotron and became the Dean of the College of Engineering in 1959. He also wrote a textbook on electromagnetism entitled "Electromagnetic Fields and Waves."
