Abstract

Theodore David Holstein was Professor of Physics at the University of California, Los Angeles (1965-1985). Other institutional affiliations included University of Pittsburgh and Westinghouse Electric Corporation. His research interests included solid-state physics and quantum spin wave dynamics.
