Abstract

Gene Sprouse is Distinguished Professor of Physics at State University of New York, Stony Brook (2006-present). He is also Editor-in-Chief of Physical Review (2007-present). Other institutional affiliations include Stanford University. His research interests include nuclear structure, neutral atom trapping, and laser spectroscopy of radioactive atoms.
