Biography

Abstract

H. Jeffery Kimble is the William L. Valentine Professor and Professor of Physics at the California Institute of Technology (1989-present). Other institutional affiliations include the University of Texas, Austin and General Motors Company. His research interests include quantum optics and the quantum mechanics of open systems.
