Abstract

Richard Tousey was a physicist at the Naval Research Laboratory (1941-1978). Other institutional affiliations included Tufts University and Harvard University. His research interests included optical properties of the atmospheres, spectroscopy from rockets, physiological optics, photographic photometry, and vacuum ultraviolet.
