Biography

Abstract

Sagdeev Roald is Professor of Physics and Distinguished University of Professor at University of Maryland (1989-present). Other institutional affiliations include the USSR Academy of Sciences's Institute of Space Research, Institute of High Temperature Physics, and Institute of Nuclear Physics. His research interests include the behavior of hot plasma and controlled thermonuclear fusion.
