Abstract

Steven Pieper is Senior Physicist at Argonne National Laboratory (1996-present). Other institutional affiliations include Case Western Reserve University. His research interests include the calculation of heavy-ion relations by distorted-wave born approximation and coupled channel techniques, variational Monte-Carlo calculations for finite many-body systems, and computer techniques for physics research.
