Abstract

John Perdew is Professor of Physics at Tulane University (1982-present). Other institutional affiliations include Rutgers University and University of Toronto. His research interests include theoretical condensed matter physics; fundamentals, approximations and applications of the density functional theory of atoms, molecules, solids and surfaces; size effects in metals; and pseudopotential theory.
