D. Allan Bromley, a Yale University professor and nuclear physicist, studied the structure and dynamics of atomic nuclei. He was also the founder and director of the A. W. Wright Nuclear Structure Laboratory at Yale. From 1989 to 1993, D. Allan Bromley served as George H. W. Bush's science and technology adviser.
