Abstract

Chia-shun Yih was Emeritus Professor of Fluid Mechanics at University of Michigan (1988-1997). Other institutional affiliations included the University of Iowa. His research interests included fluid mechanics, especially flows of nonhomogeneous fluids, geophysical fluid mechanics, waves and hydrodynamic stability.
