Abstract

Carson Jeffries was Professor of Physics at the University of California, Berkeley (1963-1995). Other institutional affiliations include the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Harvard University, and the University of Zurich. His research interests included nuclear magnetism, electronic spin relaxation, dynamic nuclear polarization, electron-hole droplets, nonlinear dynamics and chaos, and high-temperature superconductors.
