Abstract

Julio Ottino is Dean of the R. R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, Northwestern University (2005-present). Other institutional affiliations include University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His research interests include complex systems, dynamics of granular matter, and mixing and segregation.
