Abstract

Charles F. Kennel is Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography (1998-present). Other institutional affiliations include the University of California, Los Angeles and Avco-Everett Research Laboratory. His research interests include plasma physics and magnetic reconnection.
