Abstract

Philip McCord Morse was Professor of Physics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (1939-1968). Other institutional affiliations include Princeton University and Brookhaven National Laboratory. His research interests included acoustics and the theory of sound absorption, astrophysics, quantum mechanics, mathematical tables, and atomic power.
