These papers trace the history of the Midwestern Universities Research Association (MURA) from its beginnings in 1953 to its demise in 1973, leading to the formation of the Argonne Universities Association. They document the MURA's relationship to the Atomic Energy Commission, Argonne National Laboratory and Argonne Midwest Universities.
