Akiva Moiseevich Yaglom, a mathematical physicists and expert in theory of turbulence, was born in 1921. He was a class-mate of Andrei Skharov in Moscow University and contacted him in late 40's in the Physical Institute of Soviet Academy of Sciences (FIAN).
