Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems Research Library, 1940 to present.
The mission of the library is not to preserve the history of Raytheon, but to provide research assistance to the staff of the Raytheon Company, including business development and engineering information, books, or journals. The staff consists of eight professional librarians, and the holdings of the library include: approximately 60,000 books; 400 journal subscriptions; hundreds of online journals and books; technical reports from the Raytheon Research Division, which have been scanned and are now available in digital format. The library also retains materials (approximately 5,000 documents) from the Raytheon Central Laboratory, including laboratory notebooks, technical reports, and ephemera.
