This collection is comprised of a manuscript notebook kept by Joseph H. Howey while he was a student at Yale University in 1927. Entitled "Vector Analysis," the notebook includes theorems, problems, and solutions. The notebook has been unbound for preservation reasons.
Joseph Herman Howey (1901-) attended Yale University for graduate school. He served as professor and director of the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Physics for twenty-eight years during the mid-twentieth century. In 1976, the Physics Building was named in his honor.
