Robert M. Stewart papers, 1930-1988.
This collection contains Dr. Stewart's correspondence, biographical information, papers, proposals, and research program notes relating to atmospheric research. In an interesting computer historical note, he is the professor who dismantled the Atanasoff-Berry Computer (ABC), generally thought of as the world's first electronic digital computer built on the Iowa State College campus by Dr. John Vincent Atanasoff and graduate student Clifford Berry. Other highlights include a film script: "From One John V. Atanasoff" and correspondence with Dr. John Vincent Atanasoff.
