Bardeen, John.
Superconductivity and other macroscopic quantum systems [videorecording] / 1990 April 27.
The Julian Mack Lecture given by Bardeen at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on superconductivity and superfluidity, with an overview of the development of these and other correlation phenomena. He felt these were best understood through quantum phenomena; he discusses unusual properties of elements in these states, some early experiments, and shows videotapes of them. Introduction by Professor Giorgio Margaritondo.
John Bardeen (1908-1991). Physicist (solid state). Research physicist, Bell Telephone Laboratories, 1945-1951; Professor of Physics, University of Illinois, Urbana, from 1951. Nobel Prize in Physics, 1956 and 1972.
