Small group of miscellaneous papers, including the draft of an article by Moseley, photographs of spectra obtained during his experiments, and a brief and sad correspondence between Rutherford, Georges Urbain, and Mrs. Sollas (Moseley's mother) concerning his death (the correspondence, 1915-1916).
Physicist. Graduated from Oxford in 1910; worked at Manchester under Rutherford, 1910-1913; worked in Oxford, 1913-1914. Killed at Gallipoli in the First World War. He established experimentally the atomic number of the elements.
