Established in 1980 as the Division on History of Physics of the American Physical Society (APS); redefined as a Forum in 1992. The objective of the Forum is to advance and diffuse knowledge of the history of physics.
Scope and Contents of Collection
Records on the American Physical Society (APS) Forum on the History of Physics (FHP) from secretary-treasurer Thomas M. Miller, also contains some records from the earlier secretary-treasurer Ken Ford. Includes records and emails on meetings, department histories, committees, elections, fund raising, newsletters, nominating and program committees, Pais prize, website, bylaws corrections, member lists, messages to members, job listing, and student funding.
