B.S., City College of New York; Ph.D., Columbia University. Reich served with the Army Corps of Engineers in the Pacific in World War II, before joinging the staff of the Thomas J. Watson Research Center of the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM).
This collection consists of lecture notes taken by various people on classes at Columbia University, collected by Reich during his time as a Ph.D. student in 1956. Professors include: Polycarp Kusch, Tsung-Dao Lee, and James Rainwater.
