Brunk, William Edward, 1928-
William E. Brunk collection, 1963-1984.
Collection consists of publications and correspondence relating to Brunk's work with the AAS Division of Planetary Sciences, infrared telescope projects, planetary radio astronomy, and Mariner Mars projects.
Astronomer. Served as a research scientist with National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Lewis Research Center and as planetary scientist with University Space Research Association, among other posts. He was active in the American Astronomical Society Division for Planetary Sciences and in projects advancing radio and infrared astronomy. In 1985 he received the Exceptional Service Medal from NASA.
