Carnegie Observatory photograph collection.
At present, the photograph collection consists of 3,271 historical photographs of the Mt. Wilson & Palomar Observatories, including many of the staff and visiting astronomers. The collection also contains a 51-minute videotape of footage of the Mt. Wilson Observatory from the 1930s, taken from several reels of 35-millimeter nitrate film.
