McLachlan, Dan, 1905-
From zero to seventy-two, circa 1978.
The first half of McLachlan's biography is devoted to family ancestry and his childhood in Canada, Arkansas, and Kansas in early 1900s. He then describes his education at Kansas and Pennsylvania State Universities; career in industry at Corning Glass Company, Stanford Laboratories of American Cyanamid Company, Poulter Laboratories, and Stanford Research Institute (1936-1961); and academic career (from 1947) at the University of Utah, University of Denver, and Ohio State University.
