William V. Houston intellectual autobiography, 1962.
The autobiography describes Houston's early years, his education at the Universities of Chicago and Ohio State as well as California Institute of Technology, study on hydrogen fine structure, his Guggenheim fellowship and study with Arnold Sommerfeld on electron mean free path, work with Werner Heisenberg on multiplets, experiments in spectroscopy, undersea warfare research, and superconductivity research. File also includes a six-page bibliography.
Houston died in 1968.
