Materials include the foreign guest book for the Institut for Teoretisk Fysik, their first account book (1919-1923), and the minute book (1908-1946) for the Fysik Forening.
The Institut for Teoretisk Fysik was established at K benhavns Universitet in 1921 under the initiative of Niels Bohr, who served as its director until his death in 1962. As well as theoretical physics, its working domain included experimental investigations, particularly spectroscopic, in atomic physics. In 1965 its name was changed to the Niels Bohr Institut.
