Albert Einstein correspondence with H. A. Lorentz and Heike Kamerlingh-Onnes [microform], 1901-1926.
Letters, cards and telegrams from Lorentz (41 items) span the years 1911 to 1927, and are both personal and professional, including such topics as organizing the Institut de Physique de Solvay in 1921. A letter from Einstein to the Rijksmuseum discussing the deposit of the papers is appended, with an enclosed 3-page tribute to Lorentz, H. A. Lorentz als Schp̲fer und als Persn̲lichkeit (1953). Correspondence between Einstein and Kamerlingh-Onnes, 1901-1925, is both professional and personal. Included is a card from Kamerlingh-Onnes' son to Einstein telling of his father's death, and a letter to Kamerlingh-Onnes' widow from Einstein.
