Oral history interview with Gerhard R. Fisher, 1973 December 19.
Covers his career in radio engineering: his early work on radio direction finders with the De Forest Company and Federal Telegraph Company; the founding of Fisher Laboratory in 1932; production of radio telephones for the U.S. Air Force duing World War II and of marine radio equipment after the war; also includes some reminisences on early school early school experiences an d experimentations with radio, as well as recollections of colleagues.
