A documentary produced for radio use to observe the 25th Anniversary of the achievement of a controlled nuclear chain reaction at the University of Chicago on December 2, 1942 and the birth of the atomic age. Includes voice recordings of participants in the development of the atomic age including Herbert Anderson, Arthur Compton, Norman Hilberry, Crawford Greenwalt, Leslie Groves, Emilio Segre, Glenn Seaborg, Walter Zinn. The second side holds only the lead-ins for radio production.
