History of Science Society archives, 1935-1986.
This collection contains both the official records of the Society (16 linear ft.) and the records of "Isis" (41 linear ft.), which is the journal of the Society.
The Society's archive contains correspondence of the various officers, and also external correspondence; records of the standing committees (e.g., Executive, Nominating), and ad hoc committees (e.g., Committee on Women in History of Science); treasurer's records and other data concerning funds and finances; information on annual and other meetings; data on membership.
The archive of "Isis" consists of correspondence relating to its founding and publication, with the bulk of the collection being the editor's files of accepted and rejected articles, including referee reports.
