Series includes a 33-chapter manuscript "History of the Development of Engineering Progress" (ca. 1955) and supporting correspondence concerning facts and photographs. Photograph negatives (ca. 900), prints (ca. 800) and plates (ca. 100) relate to the historical development of engineering, inventions, transportation, industry and the extensive Draffin collection of portraits of engineers and scientists. Also includes manuscripts of talks, material on memorials and honors awarded Engineering faculty members (1930-45) and photographs of the Engineering faculty, Talbot laboratory and work in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
