Manuscripts and correspondence. These selected materials reflect all the significant pre-war papers still in Heisenberg's possession in 1962 and a few of his post-war manuscripts. The manuscripts, both published and unpublished, are made up of lectures, drafts, manuscripts, and memoirs. Topics include his Nobel Lecture, 1933, quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, optics, relativity, and recollections of the advent of electron spin.
