Rozental, S. (Stefan)
Stefan Rozental papers, circa 1940-1989.
The Rozental papers consisted originally of 30-35 large boxes of rather disorganized material, left at the Niels Bohr Archive at Rozental's death. Later supplemented by papers and photographs from his home given to the archive by Hanna Kobylinski. The collection has been divided into separate parts: 1) Correspondence, mostly Institute and administrative; 2) Institute papers, administrative and part of the Niels Bohr Institute history; 3) Rozental papers closely related to his cooperation with Bohr. These include a large number of letters written/received by SR as editor of the book, "Niels Bohr, his life and work ...", Schultz 1964; 4) Rozental manuscripts; 5) Minor collections of reprints, periodicals, treatises, colloquiums and lectures, lecture-plans, student lists etc. Much printed material still remains in largely unsorted boxes. Some of this is recorded from various organisations such as CERN, NORDITA and IUPAP. Correspondents include Edith Abrahamsen, Aage Bohr, Niels Bohr, Max Born, Margaret Gowing, Torsten Gustafson, Israeli Embassy, Johannes Hans D. Jensen, Oskar Klein, Hendrik Anton Kramers, Christian Ml̜ler, Jakob Nielsen, Otto Obling, Abraham Pais, Lǒn Rosenfeld, Betty Schultz, Weizmann Institute (Arieh Berger, Gertrude Philipson, Aaron and Ephraim Katchalsky, Amos de-Shalit, Meyer W. Weisgal), Harald Wergeland.
