From 1940-1947, Rosenfeld taught theoretical physics at University of Lig̈e. Utrecht, 1940-1947. Manchester, 1947-1958. NORDITA, Copenhagen (1958-1974). Chief editor, Nuclear Physics (1955-1974). Was personal assistant to, and close collaborator of Niels Bohr from 1930-1962. Research on quantum electrodynamics, epistemology of quantum mechanics, nuclear physics, especially nuclear reactions, statistical mechanics and history of science.
