Discusses relationship between mathematicians and physicists at Princeton, and elsewhere; his wartime work. Accepts tenured position in physics department at Princeton in 1948. Describes conditions at Princeton in the 1930s; talks about Albert Einstein, John Von Neumann, Milton White, and others.
