This collection of the papers of Penn State alumnus Robert W. Ritzmann documents key events in his work with the Atomic Energy Commission, including copies of The Nuclear Industry, 1964-1971, 1973-1974; documents on his recall as Canadian liaison officer; and approximately 300 color slides of nuclear power plants and facilities used in slide shows.
Robert W. Ritzmann graduated from Penn State (B.S., chemistry; chemical engineering, 1946) having served as the Nittany Lion mascot from 1942 to 1946. He joined the Atomic Energy Commission in 1957 and was recalled from his position as chief liaison officer to the Atomic Energy Commission in 1972.
