College scrapbook created by Mary Maxwell Blaine (A.M. 1900) documenting her time as a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. It contains photographs, invitations, announcements, programs, news clippings; some relating to women at Penn and much of it football and theatre.
Mary Maxwell Blaine Uzzell enrolled in Drury University in 1894 and graduated in 1898 with a Bachelor of Science degree. From 1898 to 1899 she attended graduate school at Drury as a mathematics student. A year later Mary was admitted into the graduate program in mathematics and physics at the University of Pennsylvania. She was graduated with a Master of Science degree in May 1900.
