Kosta Tsipis papers, 1960-2000.
The collection consists primarily of project files relating to militarization or arms control studies conducted under the auspices of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Program in Science and Technology for International Security (PSTIS) between 1976 and 1995. Also included are grants and proposals files and general PSTIS administrative files from the 1970s to 1990s. Other materials relate to Kosta Tsipis's work for Greek Institute for International Security Studies (GIISS), Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), and World Council of Churches (WCC). The collection includes a few folders of speeches and writings by Tsipis, mostly about arms control issues. The October 2015 accrual (boxes 14-24) consists of Kosta Tsipiss writings on arms control between 1960 and 2000 as well as incoming and outgoing correspondence, some in Greek, between 1972 and 2000.
