This collection includes selected papers and notebooks of Arthur M. Shalloway related primarily to his work at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory building autocorrelation receivers.
Arthur Shalloway received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1943, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1951. He joined the staff of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in 1962 and retired in 1983. During his time at NRAO, Shalloway was instrumental in the design and development of NRAO autocorrelation receivers models I-V and the VLA correlator prototype, as well as VLBI and data communications switch system and facsimile network design.
